Beginning in mid July, summer varieties arrive that are tart and tangy. September, however, marks the real beginning of the fall apple harvesting season. These later varieties have the distinction of crisper texture, higher sugar content and longer storage/shelf life than their summer cousins. Our sunny southern slopes and cool, crisp autumn nights give each variety their own distinct texture and flavor. Whether you purchase them fresh for a crisp healthy snack or enjoy them blended together in our fresh pressed apple juice, you’ll know they were grown with pride by the Davison family!
