A Family, A Farm, A Tradition
We are excited to say that we have been working and living on our farm since 1933! With a long history of farming (even back to the days of England), we just can’t take ourselves from it.
Once a farmer, always a farmer!
The orchard was originally planted with Macintosh trees and stayed that way into the 80s. Bob Davison (2nd generation on the farm) took over from his uncle in his late teens, and still works hard pruning, giving tours and drinking coffee today. Ask for Farmer Bob, or “Grandpa Bob” and he won’t be far away. Bob’s son, Tom and his wife Tamra, joined the farm with the vision of direct marketing in 1985. They have built Davison Orchards into what it is today.
You may ask about the 4th generation - they’re here too! In the fields, in the market, and in the office!
