School ToursOnce again, students from across the Okanagan have an opportunity to observe and experience first-hand, science in its purest form. Davison Orchards continues its commitment to educating young people about farming in the Okanagan. Our sixty-acre fruit and vegetable farm provides your students with a new appreciation for where their food comes from and how it is produced. This year we've added something new. We've re-designed our tours to better suit your class. Our tours are age specific and content can be altered or changed to best suit your classroom learning goals. May and June means blossoms, bees, seeds, planting and more. As our season gets started, your school year is ending. Davison’s is a great place to wrap up your class. Our tours are running, our play area is open, and the animals can’t wait for their first visitors of the year. September is apples and lots of them. You'll learn how to pick apples and then pick a bag of apples to take home! October is pumpkin fest. Bring your class to learn about pumpkins and then pick the perfect one for you. COST: $7.00 PER CHILD (One teacher and two parent helpers are no charge) AND $3.00 (hst included) PER ADDITIONAL TEACHER/PARENT/HELPER FOR JOHNNY POPPER APPLE TRAIN RIDE OR $7.00 FOR RIDE AND PUMPKIN/APPLES.
