Available Positions

Market Staff:

It’s best to tune up your vocal cords, lace up your shoes, and get ready to be busy! Market positions are very dynamic and include cashier work, stocking shelves, working behind the bakery counter, and operating the crazy popular ice cream machine. This position is quite physical, and being confident with engaging the customer is critical to success. If you like busy and can remain calm in craziness, the Market may be for you!

Café Staff:

You will be amazed at how many customers can be served through our original farmhouse! The Café team is made up of a dedicated team who is all about providing our customers with efficient service and expert menu knowledge. As a member of the Café team, you will get a healthy mix of till work, hot and cold beverage preparation, and food assembly in the kitchen. Being on top of your game is critical as we serve many visitors from near and afar, and large tour groups.

Bakery Staff:

You get to put your baking skills to work in the Apple Crate Bakery and make everything from pies, muffins, scones, slices, tarts, and even bread! You are working in a close knit team that is focused on meeting production schedules, but strives to make it a fun work environment. Delivering product consistency is important so our customers receive quality baking every visit!

Cannery Staff:

The Cannery is where the majority of our lunch production happens when it comes to preparing soups, salads, and sandwiches. Don’t forget our delicious apple cider donuts, and the famous caramel apples in the fall! The commercial kitchen provides a comfortable work environment with modern appliances. You must be confident working with limited supervision in a team or by yourself, be able to follow recipes for product consistency, and be motivated to keep a clean work environment.

Apple Peeling Staff:

Every apple that has gone into our famous apple pies has been peeled, sliced, and diced on the farm using our awesome apple peeling machine! You are generally working in a team, and the quicker you get the buckets filled, the quicker you get to go home! Apple peeling generally takes place after school for 3 to 4 hours in the spring and fall, and in the early morning in the summer. This is our entry level position for students looking for work experience.
