We hire personality!
If you bring the personality, we will teach you the skills to do the job. Hands-on training and building confidence in any position is what we’ve always done and will continue to do. Below are some positions we are always looking to fill in our Food Services and Retail departments. Take a few minutes to read them and show your passion for Davison Orchards by applying now!
One neat thing we do is hire for Davison Orchards, not just a specific department. During the interview, we’ll get a good sense of your best initial fit based on experience and interests, but we love keeping people engaged by cross-training into other areas when schedules allow. This helps with scheduling and gives added insight into what your fellow staff do. Many new skills and friendships have grown from staff learning and working in more than one area.
Thank you for your interest. We look forward to having you join our team in 2026!

Market Lead
-
The very reason we do what we do, is:
“To be a sustainable farm business that builds loyal customers, fulfilled staff and positive memories in a wholesome environment for our community to enjoy”
Above all the day to day tasks that take place in the market, the most important role you can play is to help the market team understand their contribution to this vision. Whether this is a first time guest experience, or the 100th time, it is our desire to exceed their expectations in quality and experience. Your most important role as a Market lead is to support the team alongside the Store Manager to accomplish this lofty goal.
-
The Market Lead will provide support to the store manager by working alongside the retail team in the daily operations, providing administrative support and being a point person for the market team as needed.
-
Clear, calm, and confident communication You provide clear direction to a diverse seasonal team—from first-time workers to seasonal team members—with patience, respect, and consistency.
Proactive and forward-thinking You anticipate needs before they become issues: busy periods, restocking requirements, product shortages, and staffing gaps. Your planning keeps service smooth for guests and stress low for the team.
Strong attention to detail You notice (and act on) small things that matter—mispriced signs, untidy displays, till imbalances, or quality slips—so our guests consistently experience the high standards we’re proud of.
Quick to learn and comfortable with systems You’re confident in picking up new tools and processes. You master our POS system quickly, handle cash accurately, troubleshoot efficiently, and enjoy helping teammates become more confident and effective at the till.
Intentional, respectful leadership You lead with care and purpose. You schedule breaks fairly, boost morale during long or peak days, collaborate well with fellow leaders, and understand that your tone, energy, and actions help shape a positive, supportive team culture.
-
As a Market Lead you are an integral part of promoting a strong culture of TOGETHER by working within the team to model the established cultural and core values. This is done primarily through being visible and working alongside your team, providing encouragement, good public relations and exemplifying excellent customer service.
